The Year was 1603

When ships started leaving Europe in search of new land, Fae were on those ships. The Fae are masters at blending in with Mortals. When some of the Fae discovered Blood Moon University they requested to join the school. They stated that even though that they have mortal lives, they are part of the UnDead since they live hundreds of years and have magick in them. Principal Lorde' Desdemona accepted them into Blood Moon University in the 1603. Due to the Fae being both Light & Dark, a new building on campus was built to help students adjust to having a more positive, cheery and high energy group of students on-site. 
The Fae have been around longer than Vampires but they have long life spans and are more like mortals. They were never considered part of the UnDead. Due to the success of Zombies being accepted into the school, the Fae fought for their right to attend and won. They bring with them new protections to the school since the knowledge that mortals from other lands are about to enter into this vast land. The local mortals are simple minded people and live off the land along with being really peaceful among each other. The new mortals coming are known to be violent and controlling.
